Q. Why can I only enter one share at a time?
A. We believe that the most powerful way to share the gospel is in a way that insists the hearer respond (Mk 8.27-29). In a sense, we encourage our users to track responses to the gospel and not hearers of the gospel. We encourage and value confronting people with the person of Jesus Christ and then letting them freely articulate their response. We also value high integrity in our data. By asking users to track each response and hopefully a name and location, we get much higher fidelity in the work.
Q. How can I get a network in the drop down menu on seedsowerapp.net?
A. We love when we get requests to have new networks of users in the app. However, we’ve had a lot of people ask for networks and then not really use them. As a result we’ve asked our users who want their own networks to start at least one church and have the members of that church share with at least 10 people and log those gospel shares. After that, we’ll add a network for you. Simply submit a request and we’ll build a new network for you. It should take 3-5 business days to get it built.
Q. I’m having a technical issue or bug with the app, how can I get it fixed?
A. Sorry, you’re having this experience. Please contact us right away by submitting a bug report so that we can get it fixed ASAP.
Q. I love this app, but I wish it had this additional functionality:
A. Thank you for your interest in our app. We are constantly trying to make it better. If you have ideas, please reach out to us. We are always raising support to allow for newer builds of the app. Please submit a feature request to share your suggestions about how the app can get better.
Q. Why can I only start 10 churches in the app?
A. We believe that 10 churches by any one person is probably way more than anyone can reasonably shepherd well. We personally believe the number is 1-2 for people with full time jobs and 3-6 for people who have the privilege of raising funds from the harvest to make disciples. However, for the super church planters out there, we left the number at 10. If you have more than that in your network, we’d encourage you to have some of the other disciples in your network to log their own churches. One of our goals with seedsower is reproducing administration. We want each church leader to do the simple administration for their own church and not a giant church network administrator. Train your downstream churches to use seed sower and spread the work out!
Q. How is my data protected?
A. At Seed Sower, your data is your data and yours alone. We never share it with any third parties for any reason. At any time you may delete your account through the app, or you can send a message through our support function on the website at www.seedsowerapp.net to have your account deleted, no questions asked. Your privacy is extremely important to us and we can take all industry standard measures to protect your data.
